I know I have your heart. It beats within my chest, and I implore you to be careful in turn with mine. Still, darling, if you were too careful, and stayed behind high walls, you would not be the Lightbringer who healed me. I am certain I will see you soon, and I know your bravery, and I hope to take the weight of it from you, until the next time you must wear it.
I cannot count the days until I see you, so instead I am counting the days we will have together, and I find myself smiling at clouds and patting small children. You make me happy even to think of, even when you are gone, and I know you will be back soon.
