In 1628, Varanis and Berra bought a house in Boldhome. It is a relatively large house located below the West Pocket. Red parts of image are not to scale.
The household is usually staffed by members of the Blue Tree Clan, including Ore, who was head cook and housekeeper and her husband, Heleris, who acted as doorman, oversaw the work on the stable, and does anything else Ore asked of him. Unfortunately, they left after encountering Lord Raven, leaving a bit of a gap in the household.
Varanis hired a husband and wife to be temporary staff after the husband turned out to be a lousy pick-pocket. The husband was a decent carpenter and wood carver, and moved on after getting back on his feet, but still does some work for Varanis.
Nowadays the house is kept by Taralest, a young nandan from the Alynxfish clan of the Malani, and a groom from the Blue Tree clan, Genrin, who also acts as a doorman.
Every now and then, Devolin comes by and makes himself at home.
