Dearest Venlar,

By now I’m certain you’ve heard everything about events in Boldhome. If you have not, it probably isn’t safe to write it down. The others and I are probably going to be travelling for a while. No matter where I end up, I will love you.

I’ve tried to arrange for your father to meet my mother and the rest of my clan. I also wrote to Mother about you. Hopefully your father and my mother will reach an agreement. Failing that, I hope they will decide to at least like each other.

I love you and I miss you. I am too popular here, in a way. Everyone insists on being treated by me and only me. I am so tired. I wish I could rest in your arms.
